North Sea Crossing

Join us at North Sea Crossing as three folk musicians visit Stengade on September 3rd!

On the bill you’ll find Uk’s Sam Grassie, Norwegian Kristoffer Birkedal and local Emile.

Traversing both traditional and contemporary folk music, Scottish-born, London-based fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter Sam Grassie has been making a name for himself on the indie circuit as both a captivating player and potent songwriter.

Born in Kristiansand on the southern coast of Norway, Kristoffer Birkedal grew up with a deep love for songwriting, inspired by folk legends such as Bert Jansch, Nick Drake, John Martyn, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell.

Shrouded in mystery, Emile creates an experimental and organic sound that is truly original. With his roots firmly planted in Copenhagen based The Sonic Dawn, the songwriter finds a new home for his more introspective compositions.
