Death metal night with Terrorpy - Crimson Burial - Elitist

We got death metal on the menu on September 26th as Danish acts Terrorpy, Crimson Burial and Elitist play.

Terrorpy hammered into the Danish metal scene in 2018 with a new line-up after a few years of hiatus. In that time they have played at Uhørt Festival, been on PlekterTour, taken a trip to SPOT Festival, released their debut album Stuffing Puke Into the Sockets and plowed boards up all over the country on all the stages that want them.

Crimson Burial is a five-piece metal band from Copenhagen, bringing fresh energy to the Danish metal scene with their modern interpretation of melodic tech death.

Conceived in 2018 and consisting of current and former members of underground acts such as PISS VORTEX, DYSGNOSTIC and UXDXS, ELITIST is a forward- thinking death metal monstrosity from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Author & Punisher celebrates 20 years of Industrial Doom & Drone Machines

Industrial doom, drone machines and extreme electronica breakdowns are on the menu when Author & Punisher visits Stengade on October 30th together with Bong-Ra.

Author & Punisher is a one man band led by Tristan Shone. Utilizing custom fabricated machines, controllers and speakers called Drone Machines, the music draws heavily on aspects of industrial automation, robotics and mechanical tools and devices, focusing on the eroticism of the interaction with machine. 2025 will see the release of his eighth full-length album via Relapse Records along with an even greater emphasis and rebirth of the visceral, live ritual.

BONG-RA became one of the pioneers of the extreme electronica Breakcore genre.
After a hiatus of a few years, with musical experimentations into Doom, Electronica and Jazz with the releases ‘Antediluvian’ and ‘Meditations’ in 2018 and 2021, showcasing his albums at Roadburn with drummer Balasz Pandi (Merzbow), BONG-RA further expanded into his metal roots and will once again be relesing on Tartarus Records. BONG-RA will perform as a three piece live band, accompanied by two guitarists (Attila Kovacs and Botond Fogl).

Zanias returns to Stengade

We are happy to annoucne that Zanias will return to Stengade on September 15th!

Zanias has been haunting underground clubs around the world with her instantly recognisable voice and uniquely ethereal electronic productions since 2011, with the spawning of her first project Linea Aspera in London. As a solo artist, now based in Berlin, she explores a more alien and spherical palette of sounds, fusing her coldwave past with the experimental pop influences of Fever Ray, Enya, early Grimes and Caroline Polachek. With her upcoming album ‘Cataclysm’, Zanias delivers a poignant call for revolution of both politics and consciousness in the face of humanity’s existential threats of war and climate collapse, conveyed through her signature of deeply personal and poetic lyricism.

Indie night with Australian Ball Park Music

In the fall Ball Park Music will support Oasis on their Australian tour, after that they go to Europe and play Stengade on the 29th of November!

Over 15 years into their career, everything Ball Park Music does these days feels like a victory lap. The Brisbane indie darlings have long established their status as one of Australia's most revered and endearing bands – with six of their eight albums having debuted in the ARIA top five, one of which debuted at #1, four of their songs having gone platinum and no less than a dozen Hottest 100 placements to their name. Most bands in that position would be happy to coast out their days on heyday nostalgia alone, but if it wasn't already clear: Ball Park Music are not most bands.

Tickets on sale Friday the 23rd at 11am!
