Ethio Jazz act Black Flower announced

We are stoked to inform you that Black Flower will be coming back to Stengade on May 16th!

After a decade of trailblazing, Black Flower has become a living organism that exhales genre. Their serpentine mélange explores the world with the toolkit of jazz. Rolling drums, shepherd’s flutes, psychedelic sequences, breathy melodies and blurred arrangements blend genres and traditions.

Rooted in Ethio-jazz, Black Flower continues to explore new sounds and push boundaries, crafting a style that is symbiotic, psychedelic, international and, above all, irresistibly groovy. The latest album, Kinetic, is a physical trip that compels movement, and the recent EP Motions extends that vision.

Bimboviolence and barbiegrind act Brat to Stengade

We are delighted to announce that Brat will play their first club show in Denmark at Stengade on August 5th

BRAT’s self-described barbiegrind / bimboviolence aesthetic is one of intentional dichotomy to their sound, with a keen focus to allow space and inclusivity for outsiders that shirks the traditional in favor of jubilant authenticity. Feral and ferocious in content and anti-purist in nature, BRAT’s Social Grace is a cataclysmically heavy party that everyone’s invited to.
