Schweiziske Monkey3 tager på tredje del af deres 'Sphere' turné, en som endelig bringer dem forbi Danmark når de bringer Stengade på en tung progget psych rock rejse til det ydre rum. Kvartetten og deres instrumentale rumrock er berygtet for sin intensitet på scenen, der har set dem optræde på prestigefyldte festivaler som Roadburn Festival, Hellfest og Desertfest.

monkey3: Bandet som blev formet under en jam session i 2001 udgav deres sjette album 'Sphere' i april 2019, et album som fortsætter den kosmiske rejse fra den forrige succesrige 'Astra Symmetry' med en perfekt blænding af rumrock, psykedelisk, stoner og progressive rock.
“Spiraling out of a majestic landscape & its untamed environment, "Sphere" stands for an abstract interpretation of nature's phenomenons, their geometric patterns, and colorful elements. The backbone of Monkey3's new album is a solid axis around which revolves a multitude of distinct atmospheres - like a wild journey along a winding road - sometimes brutal, sometimes sublime. Here the instrumental roots of the band refract in a prismatic soundscape where each musical beam finds its own space; and yet at the same time they all come together to weave a massive wall of sound.
