Model/Actriz channel raw, jagged emotion into visceral sound. With blistering guitars, pounding bass, and Cole Haden’s commanding presence, they fuse punk ferocity with dark, danceable catharsis. Their 2023 debutDogsbody was tense and sultry, a haunted exploration of identity. Its follow-up Pirouette is sharper and more self-assured—less shadowy, more spotlight—blending noise, glam, and club-pop into something both brutal and beautiful.

Haden’s lyrics wrestle with shame, desire, and queer memory, often flipping between bravado and deep vulnerability, like on standout track “Cinderella.” Behind him, the band (Aaron Shapiro, Ruben Radlauer, Jack Wetmore) twists rock's structure into a rhythmic, punishing, and danceable force. Pirouette is a bold evolution: a sweaty, stylish reclamation of body and self.
