Mary Anne's Polar Rig:
“...and the Sound of Speed” is the title of MAPRs upcoming album + comic book
-set to be released late September 2025.

Mary Annes Polar Rig...and the Sound of Speed is a cross projectional art piece displaying the world building created by the two main characters and creators:
Fast Malin Hofvander & Filthy Harald Ingvarsson.

This is a story told through both music and comics, with the two different formats representing different parts of a puzzle, complementing and enhancing the depths of each other's subliminal messaging. It’s a friend-adventure without end - an intergalactic space rock saga about fate, hope and love. A psychedelic journey exploring the vastness of space, hearts and souls through time, time and time again.
Following it is, as always and in true MAPR-fashion, a wild live show. A virtuose explosion of chaos cut up by rays of nostalgia, punchy songwriting and catchy one-liners.

Mary Anne’s Polar Rig take their name from a mining-station (now hotel) on the Arctic island of Svalbard, an identification that implies a little bit of toughness, an ability to take a few knocks and keep on rolling. You can certainly hear some of that in their sound – the guitar duo Malin Hofvander & Harald Ingvarsson serve up rough-and-tumble rock and roll that can handle anything the world has to throw at it.

Starting off life in Malmö, Mary Anne’s Polar Rig honed their sawn-off-shotgun punk, pop and rock on the road and eventually collected enough songs to create their debut album 'Makes You Happy' (2021) which was physically released in EU the US and Japan, on vinyl, cassette and CD respectively.
After having recalibrated to a two-piece (joined by 2 more people for live concerts) Mary Anne’s Polar Rig signed with Stockholm label Rama Lama Records and swam into more experimental waters for the follow-up album 'Makes You Wonder' (March 2023). The sound was more complex, mature and heavy, with melodies and sharp refrains striking through in places like lightning bolts. Some songs skid and roll chaotically, like an out-of-control dirt bike, while others are carefully nursed and layered into something crashing and grand, like towering prog pyramids, taking Mary Anne’s Polar Rig's music onto a level beyond anything they’ve ever done before.

Pære Banal:
The cult band pære banal, known for their intense, uniformed and captivating concerts, is back in style, and is coming to YOU with a banging new live show.

pære banal's music lies in the tension between devilish ferocity and uncompromising symmetry, and means that, regardless of whether they play at Jelling Festival or Ungdomshuset, they quickly establish themselves as lovable underdogs and confident outsiders. The raucous indie-punk band, which plays neither indie nor punk, has in the year of the snake 2025 seriously put itself behind the wheel as Denmark's fastest rock band, with an expanded and refined format - cykelpunk 2.0: pære banal worldwide, and
this time it's even bigger!

pære banal released their first album “Wir schaffen Das” in October 2023, and has since established itself as an exciting and unique live name on a wide range of Danish stages, including Spot Festival, Pumpehusets Byhave, Vega, Loppen, Radar, Voxhall and many other of Denmark's more or less glamorous stages. Pære banal is Jacob Baltser (drums), Jeppe Salling (bass and vocals) & Timothy Martin
(guitar).

Expect to be caught on the wrong foot when the band delivers a tour de force through the performance race of modern everyday life, with dazzling irony and sharp staccato aesthetics that attack YOU from every direction!
