Deadnate fejrer udgivelsen af deres andet album 'MOSAIC' til denne release koncert d. 3 april på Stengade hvor de bringer Thus og LiveDevil med sig!

The Danish progressive metal band DEADNATE returns with its second album ‘MOSAIC’ - an uncompromising and honest work built on lived life and musical foresight. On the album, DEADNATE develops its expression to both the more complex and simpler, all while the theme carries personal introspection and reflections on our place in the world.

The album is a testament to a band that explores the potential nuances of its expression and still keeps its goal in sight and the listener in an iron grip. The extremes are amplified on the ten new songs, where the progressive and complex are sometimes taken even further, just as the simple, direct and catchy are given room to play where it is necessary. A wide range of instruments are at play - brutal riffing, melodic flair, complex rhythms - and it all comes together in a focused songwriting that is tied together by the alternating double vocals, which is one of the band's central characteristics.

The music and the band's attitude are inspired by bands like Gojira and Mastodon, in that they are constantly looking to develop their expression and find a more unique sound. The band produces their own music, and dives deep into the artistic process, by working thoroughly with each song and each piece, so that the music always remains uncompromising. On April 3rd, you can get the release of the new album 'MOSAIC', when DEADNATE hits Spillestedet Stengade.

Thus is a progressive death metal band from Aarhus, Denmark, challenging the conventions of the metal scene. With blistering riffs, intricate rhythms, and melancholic melodies, Thus presents an original and modern interpretation of the Scandinavian death metal sound.

In 2024, Thus broke into the Danish and international metal scene, bringing their neck-breaking and captivating live show to over 25 stages in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. Additionally, Thus won the world’s largest competition for upcoming metal bands, Wacken Metal Battle, becoming the first Danish band ever to do so.

The band’s debut EP The Terminal Condition of Existence was released in 2024, featuring five ambitious metal anthems produced by Andreas Linnemann (Baest, etc.) and with drums recorded by legendary drummer Sebastian Lanser (Obsidious, Panzerballett, ex-Obscura).

In 2025, things are going to get even bigger. Performances at Copenhell and Inferno Festival, as well as a Danish tour with Livløs and 802, are just a small preview of what’s on the band’s calendar. Additionally, Thus is actively working on new material, which will soon see the light of day.

Thus is here to stay and has, in just one year, established itself as one of the most exciting and explosive new Scandinavian metal names.
