Tako Lako is one of the most explosive and uncompromising live acts Denmark has sent beyond its borders. Blending psychedelic Balkan beats, dusty gypsy grooves, electronic elements, and manic live energy, the band has built an almost mythical cult status on both the Danish and international live circuit over the years.

Throughout the 2010s, Tako Lako became renowned for their intense, trance-inducing live shows, where ecstasy, chaos, and precision merged into one massive collective ritual. Their sound moves effortlessly between psychedelic Balkan beats, off-kilter rhythms, heavy grooves, and sweat-soaked singalongs, always delivered with a raw, uncompromising energy that has taken them to festivals such as Glastonbury Festival, SXSW, Sziget Festival, and Roskilde Festival among others.

After several years away, Tako Lako are now back with a new live show, new music, and the same unstoppable intensity that made them one of Denmark’s most explosive live bands in the first place. The inner gypsy flame has never gone out, and once again the band is ready to transform concert halls and festival grounds into euphoric, boundary-breaking Balkan celebrations.

+ Support: Looking For Duende
Looking for Duende is a Copenhagen-based underground group, who's grooves are quirky, highly danceable, diverse by choice and sprinkled with a touch of the psychedelic mindset. The band's songs have many different faces and colors. Some have have a distinct Latin feel, some have a Saharan desert rock feel, some have a Danish 70/80's hippie rock feel with a Middle-Eastern twist and so on. Common for them all is their powerful and catchy guitar melodies and fitting soundscape. The songs are oftentimes accompanied by a highly entertaining, energetic and inclusive live show. Said about the band's live shows "I felt as if there was a party going on amongst strangers, and that I was fully invited. Not only was I invited, I was there as a VIP". The quote sums up the band's vibe and intention.

In 2025 the group recorded a live session of three original tracks in the W.C. Fields clubhouse in the heart of Christiania.
