Kom med når Heretoir besøger Danmark for første gang me deres melodiske blanding af post metal og blackgaze.

Heretoir is a melodic Metal band from Germany, founded in 2006. Combining the emotional and atmospheric elements of Black Metal with progressive rhythm-laden melodic Death Metal structures and the beauty of Post Rock, HERETOIR creates a nostalgic, melancholic and soothing soundtrack for our mad world. To this day the band has released three full-length records, one mini-album and several EPs and compilations. Heretoir has played shows all over Europe amongst others with bands like Katatonia, Alcest, God is an Astronaut or Agalloch and toured with bands like Killswitch Engage, Enslaved, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Kalmah, Les Discrets and Ghost Bath. The band is not limited to Europe and has toured among others China, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Brasil. Heretoir is ready to enter the stages of the world with full force more than ever - all while the next full-length record is already scheduled for 2025.

The new Heretoir record called „Solastalgia“ will be released in autum 2025. The band continues on their chosen path while adding some new and unexpected elements to deliver a mixture of dark heaviness, fragile emotionality and black melancholy. The influences range from spherical Alcest sounds to depressive Katatonia borrowings and rhythmic In Flames passages are accompanied by dark Agalloch vibes. New are the use of mystical neofolk elements ala Wardruna and even modern electronica interludes ala Ulver. Heretoir relies on both clean vocals and screams to aptly accompany the music. The albumtitle already reveals the overarching topics of grief for a lost home and the mourning of loved ones and long gone landscapes alike. The band mixes personal emotional worlds with the ecological problems of modernity. A glimmer of hope flashes up from time to time, but the new songs largely revolve around somber themes such as loss, hopelessness and increasingly urgent questions about mankinds future on a dying planet. All in all Heretoir composed an album, which offers dark music for a broad variety of listeners, who will have two things in common: the love for melancholy and a longing for intense atmospheric music.

Fractal Black er et hæsblæsende progressivt metal band (Guitar, Nicolai; Bas, Kenney; Trommer, Lukas; Vokal, Charlotte), baseret i hjertet af København. Når Fractal Black indtager scenen er volumen skruet op til en intens omgang melodisk, kaotisk, men groovy progressivt metal. Musikken er baseret på dynamiske og fængende riffs på guitar og bas, groovy trommebeats, samt en karismatisk kvindelig frontfigur, som manøvrerer både clean og hidsig rå vokal. Du føres igennem et drømmende og mørkt tekstunivers, som er inspireret af alt fra R&B og pop til klassisk- og progressivt metal. Fractal Blacks musik er inspireret af navne som Tool, Deftones, Halestorm og Rage Against the Machine, som giver det en unik cocktail af tunge eksperimenterende lyduniverser.

Nicolais riffs danner fundamentet og bringer med sin power ala forvrænget motorsav, musikken til live. Med sine atmosfæriske effekter og stereo setup, formår Nicolai at lyde som 2 guitarister på en gang, hvilket giver blødende ører på første række. Kenney er bandets rumleminister, og en stærk del af lydbilledet. Med sin “lead bas” skaber han bærende melodier, som giver en uigennemtrængelig dyb lydmur – så pas på du ikke falder i den! Lukas er den rytmiske lim, der med sine tight beats kan få selv den mærkeligste taktart til at lyde groovy. Bandets nyeste medlem Charlotte har mange års erfaring med live performance både som forsanger i hendes tidligere band og som solist, hvor hun leverer et dragende og energisk show. Udover sin versatile stemme er hun kendt for fænomenal crowd control, da hun har en evne til at få selv de gamle korslagte arme til at feste med.
