ANGST Sessions make slow dark repetitive melancholic avant garde music. During sessions with my modular instruments from Buchla & Serge finding interesting textures, timbres in spatial time and space. Recording one takers and multitrack on top of that and combine that with old wooden synths and string machines like minimoog, EMS Synthi, Solina… Drenched in tape delays, phaser, flanger, delay and reverb. Mimic nature's harsch and grim way of creating pulsating life and later decay and eternal darkness.

Mitt Inre Dekadans (My Inner Decadence) explores what happens to the mind when exposed to total darkness, cold and hunger for long sessions. Whether it's in a deep sea grave, a cave where no one set foot or the cold endless space. The further down or away you get, the closer you are to the end, but still you keep going. Complete loss of time and space and alone at the mercy of one's own thoughts and inner decay. The madness and voices of one's inner demons while one's physical body screams for rest and food.

+ Taagebue:
Enchanting atmospheric Dungeon Synth from Denmark. Long spiraling compositions unfold with soaring melodies and an ethereal sound. A steady rhythm ensures an energetic expression, which keeps a determined flow towards ambitious conclusions. The project presents itself with references to an esoteric Danish folklore, but adding to it with poetic flair.

‘Soltaagens Skikkelser’ is the competent debut full length of Taagebue, which received a good amount of praise following its digital publication in autumn of 2021. Later in 2022 ‘Soltaagens Skikkelser’ received a Pro-Tape release by the renowned Danish Dungeon Synth label Gondolin Records.

Taagebue had its live-debut at Lasher Fest ’24 in the defunct cold-war Submarine ‘Springeren’ in Aalborg.

Taagebue is the solo project of Dreyrrauðr, who is also in the prolific Black Metal projects Ildskær and Í Myrkri.
